During your microneedling treatment, a specialist machine is used to make lots of microscopic puncture holes in the surface of your skin. These puncture holes stimulate the body to start healing, replacing your old, weakened cells and creating more, stronger collagen and elastin (the cells that give your skin that firm, smoother appearance).

Because microneedling is non-surgical and only minimally-invasive (meaning no general anaesthesia, no cutting, slicing or traumatic healing period) it is safe, effective and generally painless. There are no long recovery period, so no need to take time off work to heal.

I know the sound of puncturing your skin with needles might sound painful, it’s not as bad as it sounds – an anaesthetic is applied to your face and the holes are so tiny that the whole procedure is usually a comfortable experience.
